Unite NYC

This video project was a recap to promote one of the first of many prayer walk series that our church will be doing called Unite NYC. I used the Panasonic Lumix GH5 with the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 + Viltrox Speedbooster on a monopod. I also used the DJI Osmo Pocket and some smartphone shots. Other than using manual focus for all shots on the GH5, shooting this whole event was possibly the hardest shoot I’ve had to do as in order to get footage of the walking congregation from the front, back, and all the different angles, I had to run almost everywhere back and forth. I also had to balance the weight of shooting B-roll versus recording the long and important speeches of the people selected to pray. I used a Saramonic Blink 500 Pro B2, which is an amazing 2TX to 1RX wireless microphone system to capture the exhortation and prayer audios. I had some help with an assistant who would shoot on a smartphone or the DJI Osmo Pocket on occasion.
