Baby Bottle Campaign 2023

This video was to promote a baby bottle campaign at our church.
Background: I was told the organization had a video already that I could show during the announcement time. However, once I got the video, it was about 3-4 minutes long, and we had up to 60 seconds.
So, that week I used free stock footage and music to create this video.
Independence Campus Pastor Search

The video came together in a few weeks. Our leadership told me that our campus pastor was stepping down and the search agency we were going to use needed a video to help recruit candidates.
This video was a mix of stock videos, old photos I found in our archives, some drone footage I took (using a DJI Mini 2), a dash cam I setup using a GoPro, sermon clips, and the main shot of our lead pastor using a Black Magic Pocket 4k.
The challenge was to portray accurately the area, our church family, and making sure it all flowed with the script.
The music was composed by our worship leader.
Baptism Sunday

I think what was fun about this was actually the audio. We have 3 campuses, and I had people filming at two of them, and I took the 3rd campus.
As I was filming, I heard everyone singing, and it really moved me. So I took out my phone and recorded the audio using the Voice Memos app.
I think that’s one of the biggest things that made this video so powerful in my mind.
Waiting | Short film

We do a live nativity called Bethlehem Star. In 2022 we made this short film as part of the event. This was our first attempt at a short film. Praise God we had about about 4000 people walk through. As people lined up to get into our Bethlehem market, we showed the video on a projector screen in an outside tent.
One of the challenges we faced was it snowed on “recording day”. How Canadian!!
Also, my son made it in the video but wasn’t in costume. He was trying to herd the sheep into the shot. He was pretty pleased to make it in. Trev who did the video editing was pretty annoyed he didn’t catch it!!
Asbury Outpouring (aka Asbury Revival) | Documentary Film

This project was shot over the course of a few days in Lake Charles, Louisiana with the mission of getting people to go on a Crisis Response mission trip. It was made to be played in our mission focus month of February. Jon Peake conceptualized the project, shot it, and edited it. Notice the drone shot going through the ladder rack of the truck, how you see it was how it was shot.
