“I am one of those who believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ” bluntly states, at the beginning of one of her albums, L’Or Mbongo, one of the best-known Christian musicians from Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. . In the world of international gospel music, L’Or Mbongo no longer has to prove itself. Evangelical Protestant, she knows how to share her faith not only by singing but also by preaching. Driven by deep convictions, she does not hesitate to walk the talk by helping the poorest in orphanages or by building a health center in Maluku, a few kilometers from the capital. Her passion for the proclamation of the Gospel, she shares it with her friend Immaculate Omandji, another Christian singer who left Congo DRC for France where she spreads the same message to her community and beyond.
