A special event to promote our Christmas Eve services.
This video project was a recap to promote one of the first of many prayer walk series that our church will be doing called Unite NYC. I used the Panasonic Lumix GH5 with the Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 + Viltrox Speedbooster on a monopod. I also used the DJI Osmo Pocket and some smartphone shots. Other than using manual focus for all shots on the GH5, shooting this whole event was possibly the hardest shoot I’ve had to do as in order to get footage of the walking congregation from the front, back, and all the different angles, I had to…
I used a cannon c100 mk2, mostly just run and gun trying to capture moments. The biggest challenges were staying ahead of the march, getting close to the speakers without distracting them, and it being crazy hot outside. Also searching facebook profiles for people who took video that day of the speakers so I could get their audio.
The YES Conference is for any high school student who is willing to step into the adventure of discovering who God has created them to be and all He has created them to do. YES Conference will lead a conversation on listening, discerning, and responding to the call of God through diverse speakers, creative sessions, breakout groups, and times of worship. This video is based on Ezekiel 47:9 “where the river flows, there will be life”. The concept of the video was too utilize water as the driving theme of calling. Each theme “Story | Unknown | Bold Love” are…
This year, our Easter services held a doubly joyful meaning for us at Citylight. Along with us celebrating Jesus’s resurrection, we were also celebrating the opening of our main church campus for the first time since we had to go online during the pandemic. This promo video tells the story of our church from the past year. I mainly shoot on an Canon Eos-R. Our voice over was a church member Jeslin Mathew. I had two second shooters: Andreas Wierschen and Abby King. Becky Wierschen edited and produced the video.
“Worth” is a micro-short film, which shares a beautiful story-testimonial of CC Smith who felt devalued but desired to overcome low self-esteemed. After reflecting the shortcomings viewed by others, the value and acceptance of self-worth was established.
Shot on a red camera, a 60 sec promo video for our annual women’s conference.
We shot this video for use in our weekend experiences with the goal of making it extremely easy and compelling for an attendee to download a new mobile app. This one was fun to shoot for a couple of reasons. The app has a distinct color palette, so we enjoyed doing our best to match that with the lighting on set using a couple of GVM RGB fixtures. This was also our social media coordinator’s first time in front of the camera. While it took her a few extra takes, I think the final video comes across very natural.
We did an Arby’s theme father’s day video.
