The setup for this one was a Panasonic G85 on a DJI RS2 gimbal and a single overhead light source in the middle of our empty auditorium. We have a small creative team of about 3 people, but this shoot took place in the middle of a busy project season. So my wife & I set up the scenes and took turns behind the camera shooting these workout broll-style shots. In the end, I was pretty pumped with the result. Brittany filmed this using Canon Rebel T5 and edited using Final Cut Pro. All actors were students from the LYFE Youth Group at Life Church.
This year, our Easter services held a doubly joyful meaning for us at Citylight. Along with us celebrating Jesus’s resurrection, we were also celebrating the opening of our main church campus for the first time since we had to go online during the pandemic. This promo video tells the story of our church from the past year. I mainly shoot on an Canon Eos-R. Our voice over was a church member Jeslin Mathew. I had two second shooters: Andreas Wierschen and Abby King. Becky Wierschen edited and produced the video.
“With our eyes we see, we dream, we accept, we hurt. It is easy to get caught up in seeing through the lens of comparison, sensitivity, and the desire to measure up. However, our eyes are to be pathways of love, tunnels on which graces walks and trails on which Jesus lets us see ourselves and others.” I wanted to create something unique. “Worth” is a micro-short film, which shares a beautiful story-testimonial of CC Smith who felt devalued but desired to overcome low self-esteemed. After reflecting the shortcomings viewed by others, the value and acceptance of self-worth was established.
Greetings from Trinidad! In December 2020 Our church decided to produce it’s first film / musical production! No budget, all who participated volunteered their time and items they had in their homes to use as props, all filmed with one camera (a canon t4i) and put together in about 3 months! It was challenging to pull of writing a script in a week, working with everyone’s schedules and social distancing 🙁 But we did our best and experienced a level of comradery greater than I’ve ever witnessed before!
This is a sound bite we pulled from one of pastors sermons and created as a stand alone spot. Most of the footage is form Getty images and music is from first com music.
Shot on a red camera, a 60 sec promo video for our annual women’s conference.
This was mostly created by stock footage on Getty’s, music by first com, we created the storyline and original voice over. The challengers were trying to keep the attention of the viewer with the chosen graphics as well as choosing the music. So it didn’t over power the voiceover. The goal was to give a fresh modern millennium feel.
