FBC Texarkana – Church Faves Vol. 1

Sony FX3 and A7siii Cameras – Handheld and Robotic Crane PTZ – We shot this in a gym so lighting without being too messy with equipment was the hardest part.

“It Takes a Village” – a PAC Refugee Story

This Refugee Story was meant to shine a light on the small ways we can extend Christ’s love to the least of these in our communities. Princeton Alliance Church is located in Plainsboro, NJ, an area where there are more and more opportunities to serve refugees. This particular story centers around an Afghan family being shown the love of Christ by multiple people in the church. We used a lot of natural b-roll scenes and opportunities to showcase the families and people involved. The main challenge was to present this particular refugee family with dignity and confidentiality using creative composition and framing. This was shot on two Sony FX3’s, and a very simple FalconEyes Flex Light lighting setup. A Ronin RS3 was used for stabilization on b-roll scenes.

The Pantry Story at PAC

This mini-documentary was produced to highlight The Pantry at Princeton Alliance Church in Plainsboro, NJ. This entire operation feeds over 500 people a month across 14 towns and 2 counties in central NJ every single month. It takes a lot of people freely dedicating their time and service to make this happen. This video tells their stories.

We used two Sony FX3’s, a simple FalconEyes Flex light setup and a Ronin RS3 gimbal for stabilizing the b-roll.

Easter Invite

This was very nice to edit, finding all the footage was a little challenging. But I had a blast and people reacted really well when they saw it.

At the Movies Promo

This was to promote the At The Movies series. It was hard to coordinate all the people so we did a bunch of takes. At the end when the pastors disappear people were surprised.

BRO – The Art of Manliness

This project was really nice to do since my favorite color is black. It was fun to produce. Only one light to create that contrast.

Looking For Answers | Dennis’s Story

Dennis began attending church while he was serving in the Navy, but eventually lost touch with his faith. A search for answers after the loss of a family member led him back to a relationship with Jesus.

Sometimes we sit with people that are natural on camera and great at sharing there story Dennis was one of them.

Biggest challenge was he lived far away so we captured the opening scene in the evening and treated it to look as morning as we could. We captured 90% of this all in one long day and traveled back to capture his baptism at another time. Also being on the water presented some difficulties. We needed a second boat to help capture.

A Shared Faith | Jannese & Alana’s Story

This was a longer project for us. It took over a month and a lot more production days than normal. Also we needed to have 1/2 the story edited to almost completion before we could capture the first part of the story. It was amazing to see it all come together and how the Church is not just 4 walls.
The only other challenge that worked out was the whole video hinged on the reaction of Jannese to her seeing the baptism that was sparked by sharing her story. We had our fingers crossed that Jannese ‘s reaction was good and it showed the full circle impact.

Showcase video

We started doing these overview videos to showcase during the service and then on social afterwards and our numbers have doubled since then. They have created a higher sense of energy around baptisms. Not a complicated type of video but still a very rewarding one.
