Church: First Church of Christ

“Boxes” was a video created for a capital campaign/spiritual uniting of our church. The idea was to inspire our church family for the road ahead and to remind them that no matter our background we are all created in the image of God and loved deeply. For this project we used 3 Sony mirrorless cameras (fx3, a7siii) with a variety of prime lenses. We added Aputure lighting hung from the ceiling with a skrim to disperse light. We also had some Aputure lights on stands. The speaker wore a Sennheiser lapel and we used a Sennheiser shotgun mic to capture some room noise. This video was shot and edited by our in-house team. Our biggest challenge was gathering 50 people from 3 campuses together on a Sunday afternoon. We also were crunched for time once we began building the set on shoot day. We struggled to get the lighting hung from the ceiling to the desired look.
