Video 1/5: This video series is the biggest project we’ve ever produced. It includes a trailer to promote our series “Anger City Limits” as well as four individual weekly sermon bumpers. We took a lot of inspiration from old spaghetti westerns in terms of shooting style and production design. Luckily, we have an old west museum in our city that served as a film backlot for the majority of this shoot. That gave us a great foundation to work with. Another crucial aspect to this project was our set shop team. They built a practical sign for us to film for the end title as well as some saloon doors and several other props for us to use on location. We had a lot to shoot in just a few days so scheduling to be as efficient as possible was absolutely critical. With so many exterior scenes, we were very dependent on the weather. However, we ended up only having to work around one day of rain, so we adjusted and moved our interior poker scene to that day. The wind, on the other hand, seems to never cease in Kansas, so we had to be extra careful in rigging our exterior equipment to be as safe as possible on set. All in all, this project was incredibly rewarding and easily one of our favorites that we’ve ever made.
